Papa John's Invests in Gladden Youth

[Columbus, OH] – October 25, 2021 – Today, Papa John’s of Central Ohio announced that The Papa John’s Foundation for Building Community has awarded $10,000 to organizations in the Central Ohio area to support their work to strengthen our local community.

“Papa John’s of Central Ohio is excited to present Gladden House with our first-ever Building Communities Grant. When we first learned of the grant from our national team, we instantly thought of Gladden House,” said James Warvel, Marketing Director for Papa John’s of Central Ohio. “It was the perfect opportunity to expand upon our support of Gladden House and the incredible work they do for our local community.”

“Gladden Community House is proud to be one of the recipients of Papa John’s first-ever Building Communities Grant,” said Travis Hoewischer, Gladden Community House Director of Development. “Papa John’s of Central Ohio has always been committed to providing pizza and other assistance to our cause, and now they are making a significant investment in the future of our families.”

Across the United States, The Papa John’s Foundation for Building Community is awarding nearly $1 million to more than 100 organizations whose work supports the Foundation’s focus areas – youth leadership and entrepreneurship, food security, and food waste reduction. Earlier this year, Papa John’s of Central Ohio joined other Papa John’s franchisees in applying for grants to support the work of these organizations in their respective communities.

“These grants from The Papa John’s Foundation for Building Community are our latest effort to deliver on three of our company’s core values – People First, Do the Right Thing and Everyone Belongs,” said Rob Lynch, president, and CEO of Papa John’s. “The work of organizations that build and empower the next generation of leaders, fight hunger, and reduce food waste is critical to our world’s future. We are proud to partner with franchise owners such as Papa John’s of Central Ohio to support our shared goals of building healthier, stronger communities and creating new opportunities for the people who live in them.”
