Gladden Community House Preschool encourages children to learn and grow by providing developmentally appropriate opportunities and experiences. Our play-based, child-centered program integrates physical, cognitive, social, emotional, language, and self-help areas to provide for the child's holistic development.

We embrace children’s diverse abilities, interests, needs, and learning styles. Through a responsive approach to new research and requirements, our curriculum embraces cultural competence and the belief that each child is a unique individual. We strive to create a creative and safe environment in which all children can learn and become prepared for kindergarten and beyond.

We also recognize the importance of family and community in a child’s life. We endeavor to provide as many resources and community partnerships as possible to serve not only the child but also respectfully serve the needs and daily demands of the preschool families in Franklinton and the near west side.
